One word comes to mind. Well two actually.ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Raphael!! I was experiencing horrible pain in my arm due to neck injuries. Raphael treated me in the most gentle and professional ways. I felt more relaxed and so happy afterwards. I honestly felt and still feel I experienced a miracle! A week later I’m still pain free!! Plus so relaxed I’m sleeping much better! !Needless to say I highly recommend Raphael for all that ails you. Thank you Raphael. I’m looking so forward to our next meeting.

Over the years I have received a LOT of acupuncture, but never have I felt the depth of relaxation and healing that I experience with Talia. She infuses her treatments with so much integrity, care, and consideration. I always feel so deeply cared for when I am in her hands. And for someone that usually gets treatments in the city, it was absolute bliss to walk out of our session into nature. I cant recommend the quality their services enough!!

I feel very fortunate to have found Raphael and Talia and their excellent practice! They are both very knowledgeable, caring and have been able to help me improve greatly. Working with Talia has been incredible. Her presence and knowledge is so comforting, and the space is beautiful. I immediately feel relaxed when I enter the office. I went to her looking for support with my menstrual cycle and balancing hormones, which greatly effect my mood. After the first month of an herbal protocol and acupuncture (and some cupping!)- my cycle is regulated, my mood is stabilized and feel vital again. I am so grateful to have found The East Asian Center. In a very short time they have helped me immensely. I immediately felt more grounded and connected to myself as a result of their work. Everything about Talia’s practice is soothing - the actual sessions, the setting, her presence. Having practitioners that you enjoy and trust is so critical to health and wellness. I look forward to each session not only for the way I feel physically but also how it always soothes my spirit. Regular sessions have become my favorite way to unwind and provide much needed care. I have been seeing Talia since February (both in-person and virtually, when the clinic was closed for COVID safety) to address persistent ovarian cysts. The thoughtfulness in Talias approach to healing is so genuine, and it is clear she continues to think about the continued healing of those she works with in between visits. Her work is incredibly specific, and intentioned toward each persons needs. Talias calm, grounded presence and skill as a practitioner and healer have made a monumental difference in my physical health, and also in my mental/emotional well-being. Seeing her as a supportive practitioner in my life as I try to regain some balance feels like both a necessity and a gift.

I love this acupuncture clinic! Talia and Raphael are both talented and thoughtful practitioners. Raphael has seriously helped me through some body pain (shoulders and arms), and shared some great stretches and exercises to prevent further pain. I’m now working with Talia on my cycle and am so grateful for the resource is my community, and the care I can access through their clinic. Highly recommend!!

Ive been seeing Talia since November while I was trying to conceive! After a month of working together I was pregnant and shes been a huge support to me throughout. Even during Covid lockdown Talia was delivering herbs to help me with morning sickness. I cant recommend her highly enough to anyone looking to grow their family or regulate their cycle.

I would highly recommend Talia and The East Asian Medicine Center. She has extensive education and knowledge in East Asian medicine. I wanted to stop taking prescription drugs for my enlarged prostate and she was successful in eliminating my need for pharmaceuticals with her Chinese herb formulas. She continues to help me with my physical and mental health through acupuncture, herbs, cupping and philosophy. Talia is a true professional and a beautiful soul. The office is clean, comfortable and well equipped.

I recently began a series of treatments for a long-time damaged shoulder with Raphaël at The East Asian Medicine Center on the recommendation of Pilates instructor Nicole Keegan. I could not recommend his work more highly. His body work, acupuncture and general healing therapies and skills are absolutely phenomenal and utterly effective. I am feeling less pain, stiffness and immobility and more movement, strength and serenity than I have in years. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I found it among the most effective treatments Ive ever had. Their facility is up to date, Covid-safe, very clean and super convenient to anyone in the Hudson Valley area. Raphael has been integral to my healing. I cannot recommend The East Asian Medicine Center services highly enough. I came for an acute back injury and keep coming back for the energetic attunement. His ability to adjust each session to exactly what my whole self needs (even when I dont know) is truly a gift.

After working with Talia and Raphi, I felt incredible. I sought them out after experiencing postpartum insomnia. The night after my initial session, I slept deeply for the first time in weeks. Highly recommend!! I threw out my back and was treated by Raphael and could not have been more pleased with the results. Felt relief immediately after the treatment and it lasted. He was very knowledgeable and specializes in pain and sports injuries. I live in Brooklyn but I was more than happy to go to beautiful Germantown for treatment. I will be back!

Raphael is awesome! I wasnt able to move my neck after pulling it the day before. He made time for me that morning and gave me tui na massage, accupressure, accupuncture and cupping in the same session. He is really proficient in several modalities and I felt much better. An amazing resource for our community!

I went to the East Asian Medicine Center just hoping to try out Chinese medicine and was absolutely BLOWN away by the care, professionalism and sensitivity I felt the entire time. Everything was incredible clean and the acupuncture I received was not only physically healing but also spiritually powerful. Unfortunately I had to move out of Hudson but if I hadnt I would have a weekly appointment with these two!

I came to the East Asian Medicine Center with a case of compartment syndrome which had forced me to quit running as well as causing me constant discomfort. Western medicine basically said ‘Stop running and if it gets worse we’ll cut it out’. Raphael, using primarily electro acupuncture, was able to provide instant relief. I am now able to start running again.
